Baseball Recap: Eustis Takes a Loss

Eustis managed to slip by Montverde Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eustis Panthers lost 14-1 to the Montverde Academy Eagles on Wednesday. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Eustis saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Walker, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Eustis dropped their record down to 8-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Montverde Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.

Eustis has already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Christ School on the 13th. As for Montverde Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-3 win against IMG Academy Gray on the 13th.
