Football Game Preview: Breaux Bridge Tigers vs. Kaplan Pirates

The Breaux Bridge Tigers will head out to square off against the Kaplan Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Breaux Bridge came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by St. Martinville 35-7. Breaux Bridge hasn't had much luck with St. Martinville recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Kaplan was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past North Vermilion 48-16. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Kaplan now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Breaux Bridge, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Breaux Bridge took a serious blow against Kaplan when the teams last played back in September of 2024, falling 37-0. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
