Baseball Recap: Pace Victorious

Pace took a 22-run loss the last time they faced off against Edcouch-Elsa, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Pace skirted past Edcouch-Elsa 12-10. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Nathan Horner was a standout: he scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He also put up a hit, which was his first of the season. Oliver Olvera was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
