Baseball Recap: Chartiers-Houston Takes a Loss

Chartiers-Houston lost against Burgettstown last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Chartiers-Houston took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Burgettstown. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aaron Walsh made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season.

Chartiers-Houston's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Burgettstown, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chartiers-Houston is set to take on their familiar foe Bethlehem Center at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Burgettstown will face off against rival California at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
