Baseball Recap: North Union Has No Trouble Against West Bend-Mallard

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northwood-Kensett, North Union was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines with a sharp 19-8 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

The win got North Union back to even at 1-1.

North Union and West Bend-Mallard will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Warriors will challenge rival North Iowa at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, West Bend-Mallard is set to take on their familiar foe South Central Calhoun at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
