Softball Recap: Penn Treaty Takes a Loss

Penn Treaty fell victim to Tacony Academy Charter and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to the Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 18-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Penn Treaty and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Tacony Academy Charter, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

After both having extra time off, Penn Treaty and Bodine will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:15 p.m. on the 22nd. Penn Treaty will need to watch out since Bodine has now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Tacony Academy Charter, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Thomas A. Edison at 3:15 p.m. on the 22nd. The Lions are facing the Owls at the right time seeing as the Owls are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
