Soccer Game Preview: Christian County vs. Ohio County

The Christian County Colonels will head out to challenge the Ohio County Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Christian County's offense. They came up short against Clarksville on Tuesday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Christian County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 145th in Kentucky, while Clarksville are ranked 46th in Tennessee).

Meanwhile, Ohio County also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 8-0 to University Heights on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Ohio County have lost by exactly eight goals.

Christian County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-1 record this season. As for Ohio County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9-1.
