Football Recap: Evans Falls to West Orange in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Evans kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 28-18 to the West Orange Warriors. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Andrew Chung had an outrageously good game for West Orange as he threw for 267 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes. What's more, Chung racked up 137.1 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Edison Delgado was in the mix too, providing West Orange with two scores.

Looking ahead, Evans will welcome Apopka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Orange, they will venture away from home to square off against Wekiva at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
