Basketball Recap: Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Comes Up Short

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-52 heartbreaker at the hands of the Faith Christian Knights. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 66-56.

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zach White, who went 5 of 10 en route to 12 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. White is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last six games he's played. Deron Ruff was another key player, putting up ten points and five boards.

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics' defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Faith Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-11.

As of now, neither Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics nor Faith Christian have any future games scheduled.
