Softball Recap: Star International Academy Takes a Loss

Star International Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-4 to Trillium Academy. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Trillium Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in April.

Star International Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Trillium Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Star International Academy will host Summit Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Trillium Academy, they will be playing at home against Canton Preparatory at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Trillium Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
