Volleyball Recap: Minneapolis Comes Up Short

Minneapolis lost against Rock Creek back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Minneapolis sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 22-25, 25-17.

Minneapolis' loss dropped their record down to 15-13-2. As for Rock Creek, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-5.

Minneapolis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Hillsboro on the 11th. As for Rock Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Haven on the 11th.
