Basketball Recap: Dora Takes a Loss

If Dora was feeling good fresh off their 57-18 takedown of Lake Arthur last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dora Coyotes fell 53-44 to the Eunice Cardinals on Saturday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-34 back in January.

Dora has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Eunice, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dora will head out to take on Fort Sumner/House at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Eunice, they will venture away from home to challenge Loving at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
