Basketball Recap: Barberton Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Barberton entered their contest against Highland on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Barberton Magics lost 63-40 to the Highland Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Magics can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Hornets are ranked 79th).

Barberton's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4. As for Highland, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Barberton will square off against Revere at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Revere will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Barberton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Highland, they will take on Roosevelt at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
