Basketball Recap: Phillipsburg Falls to Hillsborough in First Game of Season

Phillipsburg unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 76-33 defeat at the hands of the Hillsborough Raiders on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Stateliners in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

The win made it two in a row for Hillsborough and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Phillipsburg and Gill St. Bernard's will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hillsborough, they will be home for the holidays to greet Franklin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
