Volleyball Recap: Nation Ford Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Catawba Ridge + How To Watch

Nation Ford faced Catawba Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Copperheads. The Falcons have struggled against the Copperheads recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12, 25-20.

Matthew Scott paced Nation Ford's offense, picking up ten kills. Scott got some help from PJ Mazhari and his 18 assists. Gavin Borsum controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Nation Ford's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Catawba Ridge, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
