On Friday, Holy Cross' offense rose to the challenge against a Walton-Verona defense that boasted an average of only 15.5 points allowed. They enjoyed a cozy 41-21 win over Walton-Verona.

The contest started off well for the Cougars, whose offense put up 28 first-half points. Holy Cross will square off against Fort Knox at 7:30 p.m. ET next week. The Cougars have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
