             Unity Christian Academy scored the most  points they've had all season  on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took  a  71-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ahoskie Christian Ahoskie Christian. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ahoskie Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in February of 2019.
 Unity Christian Academy lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Jake Whitehurst, who  went 9 for 13 en route to 22 points plus three  steals. Whitehurst is trending in the right direction considering he's  improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Trey Whitehurst, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and nine  rebounds.
 Ahoskie Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Tyler Martin, who  went 11 for 19 en route to 26 points plus seven  steals and five  rebounds. Martin is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last six games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Jaelen Rascoe, who  went 11 for 24 en route to 24 points plus five  steals.
 Unity Christian Academy dropped their record down to 3-7 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Ahoskie Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Unity Christian Academy will venture away from home to  square off against New Life Academy  at 6:15  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in New Life Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  in their last four matches. As for Ahoskie Christian, they will head out to  face off against Fellowship Christian Academy  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Ahoskie Christian is facing Fellowship Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Fellowship Christian Academy is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
