Basketball Recap: Ocosta Gets the Win + How To Watch

If Lake Quinault wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Ocosta, they should've done a better job of containing Sonny Beard. The Wildcats simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Elks 69-32 with plenty of help from Beard, who almost dropped a double-double with 28 points and nine rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Ocosta's points.

Another player making a difference was Michael Priest, who posted eight points along with six boards and four steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Ocosta's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Lake Quinault, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Ocosta will challenge Neah Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Quinault, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Non Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
