Softball Recap: Farmington Takes a Loss

Farmington has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.5 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They came up short against the Rogers Mountaineers, falling 10-2. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Mountaineers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Rogers, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Farmington will take on Mountain Home at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rogers, they will challenge Greenwood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
