Basketball Game Preview: Green Bulldogs vs. Hoover Vikings

The Green Bulldogs will head out to square off against the Hoover Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Hoover will be up against a hot Green team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. Green strolled past Stow-Munroe Falls with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 58-42. The victory was all the more spectacular given Green's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 416th, while Stow-Munroe Falls is ranked 186th).

Meanwhile, Hoover blew past Washington, posting a 65-34 win. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Green's record now sits at 7-15. As for Hoover, their record is now 15-7.

Green came up short against Hoover in their previous meeting back in January, falling 46-34. Can Green avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
