Volleyball Recap: Head-Royce Wins Going Away Against Piedmont

Head-Royce barely beat Piedmont the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Jayhawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Highlanders on Monday. The Jayhawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Highlanders, too.

Head-Royce was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-16.

Head-Royce's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7. As for Piedmont, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Head-Royce didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against College Prep on the 23rd. As for Piedmont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Berkeley on the 22nd.
