Softball Recap: Flippin Bobcats vs. Jasper Pirates
Flippin's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Jasper Pirates as the Flippin Bobcats made off with a 22-9 win. The matchup marked the Bobcats' most dominant victory of the season so far.
Adrianne Benedict was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over 4.1 innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in walks (one). She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024.
