Basketball Game Preview: Patton Panthers vs. Lincolnton Wolves

The Patton Panthers will head out to take on the Lincolnton Wolves at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Patton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Patton took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 31-16 victory over West Caldwell. That looming 31-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincolnton). They strolled past Bunker Hill with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 70-53. The win was familiar territory for the Wolves who have now won three matchups in a row.

Lincolnton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Patton, they moved to 3-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
