Pine Forest came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Overhills, but Ja'Von Motta wouldn't allow it. The Overhills Jaguars managed a 52-47 win over the Pine Forest Trojans on Tuesday thanks in part to Motta, who went 9-for-18 on his way to 26 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.
Deshaun Barton was another key player, putting up 13 points along with five assists and four steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played.

Coming up, Overhills will head out to face off against E.E. Smith at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. E.E. Smith will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Overhills surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pine Forest, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-65 win against Richmond on the 12th.
