Volleyball Recap: Pacific Ridge Takes a Loss

Pacific Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the La Jolla Country Day Torreys, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Torreys this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 9th.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-18.

Despite the defeat, Pacific Ridge saw an underclassman step up: freshman Avalon Lowery had 17 digs.

Pacific Ridge now has a losing record of 9-10. As for La Jolla Country Day, they pushed their record up to 21-8 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Pacific Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Classical Academy on the 3rd. As for La Jolla Country Day, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Bishop's on the 3rd.
