Soccer Recap: Kennedy Starts Season with Victory at Home

Kennedy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bellflower Buccaneers. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Kennedy were the better team in the second half.

Ryan Gutierrez and Sohaib Naser scored all three of Kennedy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Looking ahead, Kennedy will challenge Mayfair at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bellflower, they will venture away from home to challenge Woodrow Wilson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
