London Smith spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on eight hits.
At the plate, Pleasant Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob George, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Liberty never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against Whitehall as Liberty made off with a 13-0 victory. The Hurricanes have beaten the Zephyrs the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Zephyrs has come to flipping the script.
