Football Recap: Severn Run Comes Up Short

Severn Run and Old Mill squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Severn Run had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Patriots and fell 34-7. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Old Mill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Makel Wilder out in front who picked up 92 receiving yards and one score.

Severn Run's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Old Mill, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Severn Run does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Old Mill, they will host Severna Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons' defense has only allowed 13.5 points per game this season, so the Patriots' offense will have their work cut out for them.
