Basketball Recap: East Central Starts Season with Win Against Nathan Hale

East Central gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Nathan Hale Rangers 90-32. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 55-41 win the Rangers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Nathan Hale is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

East Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 89-54 loss against Booker T. Washington on the 10th. As for Nathan Hale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-46 victory against Webster on the 7th.
