Softball Recap: Belle Plaine Dragons vs. Medicine Lodge Indians
Belle Plaine had lost eight straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 2-14 to make it nine. They came up short against the Medicine Lodge Indians, falling 17-8. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent loss being a 14-1 defeat on Thursday.

Samantha Stinnett made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Heidi Leslie also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
