Softball Recap: Chesapeake Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Arundel

Chesapeake faced Arundel in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Cougars fell 5-2 to the Wildcats. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Chesapeake's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6. As for Arundel, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-4.

As of now, neither Chesapeake nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
