Basketball Game Preview: Northland Pines Eagles vs. Mosinee Indians

Northland Pines hasn't had much luck against Mosinee recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Northland Pines Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mosinee Indians at 7:15 p.m. Mosinee took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Northland Pines, who comes in off a win.

While Northland Pines didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 58-48 win over Hillsboro on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Mosinee's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 56-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brillion. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Mosinee's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Northland Pines, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Northland Pines took a serious blow against Mosinee when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 75-45. Can Northland Pines avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
