Softball Recap: Olivet Comes Up Short

Olivet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-2 to the Western Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 10-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2021.

Olivet's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Western, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Olivet didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Berrien Springs on the 25th. Western has also already played their next game (against Hanover-Horton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
