Football Recap: Jesus Morales and Georlee Aponte Secure Win for Holyoke + How To Watch

After only eight points in their last match, Holyoke made sure to put some points up on the board against Northampton on Thursday. The Purple Knights put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 32-12 victory. The Purple Knights not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 28, 2024 (when they won 51-12).

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Georlee Aponte and Jesus Morales. Aponte rushed for 188 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries while Morales rushed for 108 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. Those 108 rushing yards gave Morales a new career-high.

The win got Holyoke back to even at 1-1. As for Northampton, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holyoke will challenge Agawam at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Northampton, they will square off against Wahconah Regional at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
