Soccer Game Preview: Attleboro vs. Oliver Ames

The Attleboro Bombardiers will take on the Oliver Ames Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Attleboro sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over North Attleborough. Attleboro haven't had any issues with North Attleborough recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Jaedyn Beland was the driving force of Attleboro's attack as he scored both of Attleboro's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Meanwhile, Oliver Ames hadn't done well against Concord-Carlisle recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Tigers never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Oliver Ames' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Concord-Carlisle are ranked 33rd).

Attleboro's win bumped their record up to 8-4-5. As for Oliver Ames, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0-3.
