Softball Recap: Affton Cougars vs. Pacific Indians
Affton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 18-1 to the Pacific Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 14-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.
Affton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abigail Giunta, who went 1-for-1 with a stolen base.
Affton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Pacific, they moved to 5-23 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

As for Pacific, they will play host again on Wednesday to welcome Rockwood Summit, where first pitch is scheduled at 4:00 p.m. Pacific will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
