Soccer Recap: Graves County Takes a Loss

Graves County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado. Graves County were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Paducah Tilghman apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in July of 2024.

Graves County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Paducah Tilghman, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.

Looking ahead, Graves County will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Trigg County at 7:30 p.m. As for Paducah Tilghman, they will challenge McCracken County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
