Waldwick put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Bergenfield Bears with a sharp 11-1 win. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Waldwick pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Bergenfield, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waldwick will venture away from home to challenge Park Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bergenfield, they will head out to face off against Pascack Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Bears' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
