Softball Recap: Alexandria City Takes a Loss

Alexandria City was the 15-5 winner over West Potomac when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans fell 11-8 to the Wolverines on Monday. The Titans just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Alli Goetz was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base. Ginger Whitley also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Alexandria City's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for West Potomac, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.

As of now, neither Alexandria City nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
