Softball Recap: Marion's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against West Memphis on Tuesday, Marion came back down to earth. The Patriots fell just short of the Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels by a score of 7-5 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Patriots have suffered since April 30, 2024.

Marion's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-8. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-15-1 record this season.

Marion will take on Batesville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tipton-Rosemark Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
