Basketball Recap: Coosa Takes a Loss

Coosa lost against Christian Heritage back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Coosa Eagles took a hard 58-44 fall against the Christian Heritage Lions. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while the Lions are ranked 135th).

Coosa's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Christian Heritage, their victory bumped their record up to 18-4.

Coosa has already played their next game (against Gordon Lee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Christian Heritage Lions take on the Darlington Tigers at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
