Soccer Game Preview: Valencia vs. Mater Dei

Mater Dei is hoping to do what Poly couldn't on Saturday: put an end to Valencia's winning streak, which now stands at six games. Valencia never let Poly onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory. The Tigers' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Meanwhile, Mater Dei put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past El Toro 5-0. Ayden Romo was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Valencia pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four matches. As for Mater Dei, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
