Lower Merion lost against Marple Newtown back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Aces fell just short of the Fightin' Tigers by a score of 1-0. Lower Merion's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lower Merion's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1. As for Marple Newtown, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lower Merion will square off against Harriton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Harriton have yet to allow a single goal through four matches this season, a streak Lower Merion will look to end.
