Football Recap: Gettysburg Takes a Loss

Gettysburg fell victim to Warner and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Monarchs. The Battlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Boston Brown threw for 29 yards on two of ten attempts. On the ground, Ayden Forgey rushed for 62 yards.

Gettysburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Warner, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Gettysburg will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Lemmon/McIntosh at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Warner, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Ipswich at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Monarchs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
