Football Game Recap: Riverdale vs. Pearl River

Pearl River won the last time they met up with Riverdale, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Pearl River strolled past Riverdale with points to spare on Friday, taking the matchup 42-27. 42 seems to be a good number for Pearl River as the squad scooped up a victory with the same point total in their previous contest.

The win bumped Pearl River's record up to 4-0. The defeat dropped Riverdale's record to 3-1.

Pearl River will stay at home next week against Haynes Academy at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. Riverdale will look to defend their home turf against Eleanor McMain at 6:30 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
