Baseball Recap: Palm Harbor University Triumphs

Palm Harbor University won the last time they faced Pinellas Park and things went their way on Friday too. The Palm Harbor University Hurricanes blew past the Pinellas Park Patriots 12-1.

Kasey Mink was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Mink was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. What's more, he also posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sebbie Silva, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Brody Roe was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Palm Harbor University was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pinellas Park only posted a batting average of .160.
