Paul W. Bryant scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Central Falcons as the Paul W. Bryant Stampede made off with a 25-10 win. The victory was just what Paul W. Bryant needed coming off of a 22-0 loss in their prior match.

Brianna Washington was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (she also only allowed one walk). Washington was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Paul W. Bryant got a massive performance out of Alicia Dozier, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Zoi Brown was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Paul W. Bryant's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Central, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paul W. Bryant will square off against Holt at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will head out on the road to take on Aliceville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aliceville's hitters has struggled lately (they haven't scored a run in five consecutive games), something the team is no doubt ready to change.
