On Tuesday, St. Raphael Academy faced Coventry in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The St. Raphael Academy Saints had to suffer through a 75-39 loss at the hands of the Coventry Oakers. The Saints' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Coventry to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayden Martin, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten assists. Another player making a difference was Tyler Broady, who almost dropped a triple-double on ten points, 11 boards, and nine assists.

St. Raphael Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Coventry, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

St. Raphael Academy will face off against South Kingstown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in South Kingstown's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Coventry, they will challenge Pilgrim at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coventry is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.2 points per game this season.
