Baseball Recap: Joshua Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Joshua can now relate to. They fell just short of the Argyle Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Owls couldn't push the score so high this time.

Joshua's defeat dropped their record down to 23-10-1. As for Argyle, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-13-1.

While Joshua had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
