Basketball Game Preview: Burns Broncs vs. Cody Broncs

The Burns Broncs will take on the Cody Broncs in a holiday battle at at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Saturday, Burns was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 39-33 to Southeast.

Burns' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Irene Madler, who posted ten points, and Myla Medley, who put up five points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Madler a new career-high in points.

Meanwhile, Cody blew past Torrington, posting a 69-24 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncs.

Cody pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31 points. As for Burns, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
